Help out an Agent Fan!
I'm trying to get my hands on screencaps from any "making-of" type clips from the first movie featuring Paul Goddard as Agent Brown.

Can anyone give me a hand?

Does anyone know the name of the song that was playing quietly as Neo slept at his computer while it loaded those documents, right before Trinity contacted him?

It was some kind of lite electronica, with a girl's voice.
Not sure.

Answers appreciated..

We need someone to take over horror/sci-fi/cult film website...
Sorry for this being not being Matrix related, but we need help.

Exhausted web administrator would love to meet willing victim and get them to run The Rumour Machine (www.rumourmachine.com), a popular genre film review website catering for the Horror, Fantasy, Sci Fi and Alternative Cult Cinema genres.

The site has been built up and run by Lee Bailes for over 5 years. His new work commitments mean that he is unable to remain involved with the website and is planning to shut it down unless someone else demonstrates a willingness to take over the workload and wants to run the website. Lee is willing to hand everything over to the person who best demonstrates a love for the genres and a genuine enthusiasm for the momentous task of taking over the site.

The chosen victim will receive one well used website, the domain name, an established readership and film industry contacts and a very useful marketing tool. If you're interested get in touch with the rumour_man!

You have one week and the clock is ticking now.....

Enter the Matrix question
I...must...have...missed something. I don't think, however, that I would have delivered those lines without completely laughing my butt off.

However, the observation is this: this is from Enter the Matrix, which I thought occurred when Trinity and Neo were already together...so unless I'm guessing wrong in thinking what actually happened there in that scene...urrrr....then wtf? Nah, I must have read the context wrong...I think....errrr. What is she thanking him for? Why are they alone? Where's the operator? Heh, heh, just kidding. Obviously there is a perfectly good explaination for that...I just don't know what the hell it is. Can someone who has played the game please tell me what this was all about?  (x-posted)

Oh and PS, for those of you who like music video's, spoof's etc. I found quite afew good ones and have posted them on my journal. If you would like to see them then just scroll down afew posts. Enjoy, some of them are very good!

And now to the matter at hand.

Bad Trinity, bad!

Remember, Remember the 5th of November
I'm wondering what people thought about "V for Vendetta"
I enjoyed it, even though I thought It was a bit drawn out and wordy (I never read the comic, but I had the classic notion that comics had more action, than loads of dialogue)
It's hard for me to hear Hugo Weaving's voice and NOT think of Agent Smith
especially when he's waxing poetic about how a Symbol is something that canaot be killed
of course I came across a few similarities with this movie and the Matrix Trilogy
but I was actively looking for such things

Your thoughts ??????

Chizumatic - Too many words about The Matrix:

This is an interesting analysis of the Trilogy from the perspective of a software engineer.  It's a really good read.  I dont' think he's dead on everywhere, but I'm always up for a new analysis.

The Matrix — as directed by Kusturica
Matrix - as directed by Kusturica

At the World Movie Festival DaKino at Rumania, any year there is shown the best «other» movie. For those, who wants more than Hollywood.

Do you know Kusturica? This is the Yugoslavian film director, the base of style of which is the expressive and rigidly realistic interpretation of reality. Those, who`s seen his movies, will be interested to see the film «The Matrix», as directed by Kusturica.

If you want to look outside of the movies for greater being to "The Matrix" I would look to the Matrix Comics if your not a gamer. (I am not a gamer.) Who knew Andy and Larry had fans like Neil Gaiman! And yes Neil wrote fan fic for the Wachowski's. Great artist contributed to the fandom as well. If I am not mistaken they are working on (or just recently came out with) the third installment of the comics. They focus on all aspects of the matrix (not just Zion, or not just inside of the Matrix), so you are bound to find one or more that you like.

The Path of Neo
Its been a long while since anyone has posted in this community
But I just want to add something that has given me closure to my disappointment in the Matrix sequels. I just finished "The Path of Neo" for the PS2, and all I can say is that my faith has been rekindled. I was let down by Reloaded and Revolutions. My main gripe was that the first movie had all these slick fight scenes, and pseudo-psychological mumbo jumbo, and all the cool stuff took place INSIDE the Matrix. Then in the sequels, we were muddled with the dank sweaty world of Zion, with normal people who had to survive underground. BORING !!!
Well in "The Path of Neo", there are no Zion levels. Basically its a bunch of parallel missions that we didn't see in the movies, while still focusing on NEO and not some peripheral characters like Ghost and Niobe **cough*Enter the Matrix*cough**. Actually, I liked "Enter the Matrix", but mostly because I wanted to like it.
The suprise alternate ending was spoiled in this community along with the Television commercial for the game, but there is a little something EXTRA before the ending. that will make any true Matrix fan salivate. Please don't ruin it for anybody who hasn't played the game yet.
You can probably get the game cheap at a GameStop or EB Games, now that its been out for a while.
Long story short, play the game (I beat it in 3 sessions), and you just may forgive Andy and Larry. Heck, you may even pull those dusty DVDs off your shelves and watch them all over again

The Matrix Online Trials
Is Matrix Online still offering and honoring free trials? If so, would anyone here be willing to pass me one? I'm kind of curious about it but want to take a test drive before investing, especially since I've heard mixed reviews

The Matrix: Path of Neo
I don't know why I expected Path of Neo to be any different from "Enter the Matrix." Honestly, EtM wasn't that bad, but it was pretty weak on controls and storyline; main complaint being that the game was too short for having to learn a complex set of moves. I think I beat it in a weekend. After about five hours of game play I've gotten through what seems like a good chunk of the game. The levels aren't set up in any way I can understand. There seems to be a story here... more or less a disjointed stringing together of scenes from The Matrix movies (depending on what part of Neo's evolution you're in, you see clips from that movie) and tossed in game play.

The Matrix: The New Ending?
The Matrix: Path of Neo came out yesterday, inexplicably on every format except for the GameCube. There are two big selling points behind this game. The first is the obvious one: You are Neo, and you get to play through the entire trilogy. The second one is that the Wachowskis Brothers have written a "new ending" to the trilogy's story that is exclusive to the game.

Now, I'm going to put this behind a cut for anyone who is thinking of getting this game for their PC/PS2/Xbox, but the fact of the matter is that I am now fully aware of what the new ending is. It is confirmed through various sources. I have even seen some poor-quality pictures taken off of a TV.

The new trilogy ending?Collapse )

I'm not sure if this was intended to be a valid ending or if it was just some kind of a way of saying "fuck you" to anyone who didn't like Revolutions or what.
